David comes to Grand Slam from the Savannah, GA area and has a wide array of playing and coaching experience. You can see additional information about David on our "Meet Our Coaches" page. At the same time, Grand Slam will be saying goodbye to a long-time instructor. After more than 5 years at Grand Slam, Jarrod Schmidt is leaving to pursue other interests. Jarrod has been an instructor and coach to many players in his time at Grand Slam. Curing Kid's Cancer is a national, grassroots movement which aims to raise both awareness and money to find cures for all types of childhood cancer. Youth sports teams, coaches and leagues across the country have already joined in the battle to fight childhood cancer through the CKC program. Many local coaches have asked that in lieu of the traditional, end of season coach's gift that a donation be made to CKC as part of the "Coaches Curing Kids Cancer" program.
